The loan officer for a local bank is found murdered in his car. Harley and Sam investigate the case by asking questions of the players in a small theatre troupe, people at a mine that had a disaster recently, and other employees at the bank. Meanwhile, Dave struggles with Harley's new and exotic coffee maker.
