The explosive from the landmines is delivered to the Café René, disguised as 500 Christmas puddings. The airmen are busy practising unscrewing the covers of the landmines from inside, so they'll be able to escape and use their parachutes before the landmines hit the ground.
Herr Flick and Von Smallhausen disguise themselves as monks and hide in a church bell tower so that they can keep the café under observation.
