Grisha Izmaylov is investigating the case of disappearance of a bus with German tourists and getting his sister Nika from another trouble. Lt.-Col. Yakovlev, who is exhausted by Grisha's antics, and investigator Mukhich, who is suffering from unrequited love for Kristina, decide to drink cold whiskey at the height of the working day.
