Kindaichi goes to Hong Kong in search of Hell's Puppeteer. He attends a magic show by "Maskman," a name that the Puppeteer has used in the past. But Maskman hypnotizes him, and he starts to feel faint. When he wakes up, he's walking down the hallway of an empty building, and there's a dead body in the room behind him...
