The Ikebukuro Police Department’s violent crimes unit receives a missing person’s report about a high school girl. At first, Ryuichi and Kenji suspect that she ran away from home. But they launch an investigation upon finding out that the girl’s mother, an elite government bureaucrat, claims her daughter has been kidnapped.
