Six survivors with a vital vaccine seek Station Echo to save humanity from a brain-damaging virus that has spread globally.

The survivors begin their journey to Station Echo, but face immediate challenges as their electric car loses power, nobody knows how to read a map and the vaccine's cooler breaks down. Later, a woodland shortcut complicates their journey further.

While seeking fuel, the group discover other survivors of the idiot plague; a dangerous dumbie seizes the vaccine, forcing Frode to play his hated childhood song that made him a child celebrity.

The group plan to abandon Frode, believing him to be infected; Perry must prove his surgical skills to save Frode.

The group struggle to enter after arriving at the gates of Station Echo. As they attempt to figure out the code to the gate, Frode leaves to find some tools, and Thea plots to kill him.

The group find nobody at Station Echo and have to decide whether to stay together or split up; Frode, driven by dreams of his mother, refuses to accept failure and finds Echo's inhabitants at Station Alpha.

A dumbie breaches Station; Perry's suspicions lead to Trine's coup, forcing him out; Frode seeks a way to Station Alpha, realising the dumbie they dumped in the woods held crucial information.

The group find Station Alpha beneath Echo, but a malfunction causes lockdown; a dumbie prisoner attacks Forde, who is then presumed infected; Jokke runs away, and Lone locks herself with Forde; Trine cuts the power to reset the base.

Frode isn't infected and the dumbie prisoner is Professor Valeur from Station Alpha; as the door to Station Alpha opens, the dumbies grab the vaccine; Thea nearly dies retrieving the vaccine; Valeur steals the vaccine and escapes to Alpha.

The group reach Station Alpha, and Frode is reunited with his mother; Frode's mum and Valeur plan to eradicate stupidity; dumbies invade the base, and the vaccines are all destroyed; group escape to post-apocalyptic world, united.
