As the girls head out, guards stop them. *Hourglass opening.* At the police station, Julie is questioned and gives a false surname—Horton instead of Olsen. The scene shifts to the Horton home, where Alice looks over family photos, missing her grown children. She and Tom talk about how quiet the house has become, though they’re excited for Marie’s upcoming wedding to Tony Merritt. Marie, Tony, and Mickey arrive to go over the plans.
