Documentary following life at Frederick Bremer School in Walthamstow, east London. The comprehensive's newest teacher, Mr Bispham, learns the job isn't always plain sailing, especially when it comes to educating Year 9 girls, while pupil Tawny focuses on winning a place at the prestigious Brit School for Performing Arts & Technology, but she's competing against her best friend Alice. With Acacia's mother sick in hospital, staff are on hand to help the 14-year-old through a difficult time.
