Jennifer becomes convinced Jack is having an affair after seeing him hug Ginger, unaware he only offered Ginger a job. Brian finds them arguing at home, and Jennifer—hurt by Jack’s distance—banishes him to the couch while Jack remains confused. Baby Brady has breathing trouble, but Marcus treats him and he recovers at home. Carly and Bo, posing as social workers, are ambushed at gunpoint and run off the road. Bo chases the attacker away, but when they reach the motel, the family they were meant to meet has vanished. The robber later confirms he successfully blocked the meeting.
