Fabiola promptly informs Max that his wife is approaching the table where they are having a meeting. Quickly, the Miami businessman sets a trap and explains to the mother of his children that she is a potential investor in one of his businesses. Initially, Max tries to make his wife feel guilty for following him to the meeting. However, she decides to pretend to believe everything he says, but remains doubtful about his words, even though the investor denied everything until the end. To make matters worse, Javiera decides to tell Matilde about her predicament, who emphasizes that she doesn't trust him. At that moment, Javi receives a call from Manuel, which immediately cheers her up. Meanwhile, Jaime and Pili try to have a passionate moment in the office, but before anything happens between them, Teresa enters unannounced and catches them in a very embarrassing scene.
