Academics Amanda and Steve Wood moved from a modern house in Melbourne, Australia to a detached period residence in the suburbs of Birmingham. They wish to restore some original opulence to their Victorian living room and create a luxurious space but have no idea which style to opt for, to stay true to the house's history.
