In the emergency department, chief physician Anders receives a patient who has not taken his diabetes medication for a long time and is now in a life-threatening condition. Wound nurse Henriette has a diabetic patient who has had 3 toes amputated, but the wounds have become infected and she has initiated maggot treatment. Chief physician Maja has a dizzy patient who has to be put in the ear stone chair and have a spin.
