Jezebel warns that Aurora won't be able to escape accepting the pearls she received as a gift, but in reality she is preparing for her final revenge. 'Pintas' tries to hurt Ángel, but Demián stops him and dies. Jezebel witnesses everything, but is unable to save her son. Antonio confronts 'Pintas' and manages to overcome his evil, making him pay for all the harm he caused to Aurora and Ángel. Jezabel is diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome, a condition that prevents her from speaking and moving, so when she faces her ghosts, she falls into a pool and loses her life. Aurora recognizes that her life is with Julio César, so she confesses that he is her great love. Antonio lets Aurora be happy and assures her that freeing her is also an act of love.
