Se-yeong cries as she tells Gyeong-sun that not having a child is bearable but that she won’t be able to bear it if Jin-a’s birth mother came and took her away. Gyeong- sun assures her that Jin-a is Se-yeong’s child no matter what and that would never happen. But she knows about the affair between Geon-wu and Seo-gyeong and secretly worries. Seo-gyeong prepares a present for Geon-wu to celebrate their 13th anniversary. She gives it to him on their date. They both remember the day they first met and long to turn back the hands of time. Tae-hyeon is spying on them from afar, full of anger and jealousy. So-young is also there. She slashes the tires of Geon-wu’s car and is about to do the same to Seo-gyeong’s car when she sees Tae-hyeon. Tae-hyeon comes home late that night, drunk. He hugs Seo-gyeong and Seo- gyeong is swept with guilt and remorse.
