The tanker of Captain Shiratori, who Kotaro owes his life to, is attacked by Samekujira and sinks. Kotaro transforms into Ultraman Taro and defeats the monster, but he has mixed feelings inside. Kotaro returns his badge to Mother of Ultra and challenges Alien Valky. This was a message to Kenichi, who was grieving the loss of his father.
