Berger is arrested because his involvement in the kidnapping of young Różyc seems obvious. The boy recognizes Berger's basement as the place where he was held captive. There is also plenty of evidence pointing to Berger's guilt: phone records and recordings of conversations, video footage, fingerprints, and biological traces. However, Bronek has his doubts. Meanwhile, Martyna, who has been abducted by her accomplices, calls him. They turned out not to be who they claimed to be.
