Bronek learns from Kowal that his son, Tomasz Jasiecki, and Piotr Niewiński (the bus driver who caused Martyna's sister's fatal accident) grew up together and fell into the trap of addiction together. Meanwhile, Martyna coordinates the final preparations for a major international exhibition of Grzegorz Berger's wife's work. Bronek, in turn, meets with his father. He informs him about the reopening of the investigation into the death of Bronek's mother and that he himself is a suspect in the investigation. Later, Justyn Jamroży confesses to the crime. He claims that he killed his ex-wife. In this situation, Bronek, cleared of charges, returns to work.
