Theme Notes Series 276: Put On Your Hat (Wednesday)
This week in Play School we explore the theme of “Put on Your Hat” through music, stories, craft and play. Every day this week, we visit the Play School hat shop where a hat for every occasion can be found. On Wednesday, we take a special ride with Justine as she puts on a helmet and travels to Play School on a motorbike.

IDEAS FOR LATER
- Set up a shop that sells sports hats. Your shop could include a cricket hat, a motor cycle helmet and a life savers cap. Have fun selling your hats to customers. They may come into the shop and say, “I need a hat to wear while I’m playing the cricket. What will be the best hat?”
- Build some sandcastles in a sandpit or at the beach. Decorate them with leaves and pebbles from the garden. Put a flag on the top.
- Take a ride on a pretend motorbike with an ice cream helmet.
- Find pictures of people wearing different hats in old magazines and make a collage.
