In the aftermath of Su-ji's and Hyun-sung's family meeting, Su-ji finds a place to stay where neither Hyun-sung nor her family can find her. The Courtyard House family worries about Su-ji while she sleeps all day without eating. Jin-tae sees the divorce papers Ma-ri kept hidden and is shocked. Meanwhile, Na-young appears in an unforeseen place in front of an unexpected person.
