During a Marathon Group Therapy weekend Ken Scanlan talks about his unfaithful wife Ruth. Lorraine, with whom he had a brief affair, slays Ruth to help Ken. As Ruth's life insurance policy had a double-indemnity clause, Barnaby and J.R. investigate hoping to stop any further murders.
