Investigators must solve the case of a man who hanged himself in his own apartment. The matter of his death does not raise any major objections - the problem is that a dead woman was found in the next room, having died from a knife attack. A district policeman who knew the suicide says that the man had been having strange problems for a long time. He wandered around the city at night, talking to himself, destroying property and being aggressive towards the police. The suicide's mother has a different opinion. Her son was seriously ill - and he is not the torturer, but the victim. Meanwhile, Kłos has an additional problem to solve - Paweł's father has been released. And he is not happy with the fact that the boy ended up in Sławek's care.
