Most people associate Resident Evil with the survival horror genre, but its origins lie in a different franchise: ALONE IN THE DARK. Like Resident Evil 2, 3 and 4, the first part is now getting a remake, even with a prominent cast from Hollywood, known from Killing Eve and Stranger Things. We take another trip into the past in a new episode of our "Excavated" section. Daniel digs up DISHONORED: THE MASK OF ANGER. And because it's always best at home, we've also included a game from Germany. Or rather from Berlin. Because BEAT SLAYER is set in an alternative reality in the state capital where robots are up to mischief. But there's still currywurst and techno. The whole thing mixes rhythm games like Hi-Fi Rush with roguelite gameplay a la Hades.
