Adriano reveals to Helena that he always suspected Plutarco of being evil, so he sent him to investigate and discovered a number of irregularities that make him certain that Juan Carlos is innocent of the fraud. Plutarco kidnaps Helena and tries to escape from the authorities, but discovers that he is carrying Antonia's ashes in the car, so he throws them away, but the soul of his ex-wife causes him to lose control of his vehicle and suffer a terrible accident.
