Krishna is angry to see the harsh rituals imposed on Pratigya by Swamiji. She is made to bathe in cold water in the pond, early in the morning. He criticises his family for their superstitious beliefs. But Swamiji forbids Krishna from doing anything to make Pratigya feel warm. How will he comfort her?
