A man is found dead on the Giostra dei Desideri, a historic attraction in Gubbio. Not far away the carousel, unconscious and with a gun in his hand. For Tommasi the facts speak for themselves, while for Don Matteo the truth is not obvious. Helped by Natalina, Cecchini decides to participate in the "Test of the cook".
