The bandits' hunt for Jerzy Stork continues, and he once again slips out of the ambush. He is hiding at a post guarded by a lonely apprentice Marian Cielęcki. It turns out that the trap for the crown witness was set by General Dowbój, in which Stork recognizes one of the criminals. Marian, a servant, along with agents, neutralizes Dowboja and his assistant. After returning home, Luśka informs her parents that she intends to marry Marian.
