Monami's father is taking her back home and she suddenly stops the wheelchair and tells him that she will not go anywhere without saying goodbye to Karan. Karan comes to take her back to the academy and also brings her a gift chosen by Baby. He tells her how eagerly everyone is waiting for her back at the academy. Hearing this, Monami begins to cry. Karan asks her what happened and she tells him that she is quitting the academy. He asks her why and she says she has just survived a bullet that would have ended her life. She is scared and does not want to risk her life from now on. Just when she is about to leave, he asks her if her father is forcing her. Will she share how her father has tried to blackmail her using Karan? On the other hand, Koel has brought a box of sweets for her son but he starts comparing her to how his dad would bring him huge boxes of crackers and chocolates. She remembers how her abusive husband would beat her. She cries and asks her son to adjust this year with just a box of sweets.
