Kees vindt het toneelstuk van school maar triest, totdat hij hoort dat Ilona Julia speelt. Romeo zoent Julia in het stuk, dus plots vindt Kees toneel heel gaaf en wil hij die rol. Tijdens de repetities is Kees nogal afgeleid en ontgaat hem een belangrijke regieaanwijzing.
