Sunday’s Dixie Vodka 400 NASCAR Cup Series event marks the 22nd race hosted by Homestead-Miami Speedway in the series’ history. The 1.5-mile, banked oval located in Homestead, Florida has an asphalt racing surface with 18-20 degree variable banking, 3 degrees on the front and back stretch. The track first opened in 1993, the Cup Series held its inaugural race in 1999 with Tony Stewart as the winner.
