Armies and Tactics: Roman Polybian Legion and Triplex Acies (2018x70)

In our previous animated historical documentary, we have covered the earliest Roman army. This new episode will describe the Roman army of the mid-Republic, the so-called Polybian or Manipular legion and the famous triplex acies formation. Our plan is to continue this series all the way to the fall of Constantinople, so stick around. The next episodes in this series will see how the Romans dealt with Carthage and the famous Macedonian Phalanx.
