Our historical documentary series on the history of the Cold War continues with a video on the so-called Long Telegram written by the American diplomat George Kennan. This telegram that was later turned into an article was central to the American understanding of the Soviet system and the decision to employ the Containment strategy in the bid to defeat communism and the USSR.
