Shin Deuk, a noblewoman living in the Japanese colonial period, tries to become the so-called “modern girl” to grab her husband’s attention, only to find out her handmaid is having a relationship with the teacher with whom she has fallen in love. She then realizes the values that are more important than her infatuation.
