Yaeko attends a matchmaking party where she is paired with the straitlaced but sincere Keiichi. Meanwhile, Yukie, who has stopped taking violin lessons to look after her mother-in-law, invites Rihito and Yaeko to join her for a rehearsal. Yaeko is excited about the reunion but then Keiichi asks her out on a date the same day.
