Piper is hanging desperately by her fingers. Tyler cant reach her and she's about to fall off when the police come to rescue them and arrest Tyler. Tyler is thrown into prison and is only allowed to see Toadie. His barrister quits and Toadie says Tyler's best chance is to plead guilty. Tyler does so despite the opposition of Piper and his brothers.
