Maik is stunned: the church council has decided to lend the golden monstrance, which he is after, to the neighboring congregation for an indefinite period of time. He wants to prevent that at all costs. When Maik catches the husband of the church council chairwoman in flagrante with his employee Simone, he seems to have come a big step closer to his goal. But then the next morning he finds a crying Simone in the church.
