A young family with a badly remodeled kitchen find it transformed back to the '40s style of the house and into a kitchen of their dreams. Their outdated laminate cabinets and counters get replaced with white and glass cabinets, and the cramped kitchen becomes a multi-functional space, complete with all new appliances, cabinets and tile floor, an eat-in kitchen counter, corner nook for the kids and a built-in desk. This plain old kitchen is transformed by a retro remodel with a modern twist.
