そしてついにタイムリミットは訪れた。
１か月後――。
真っ白な布団で、真っ白なパジャマで眠る武蔵。
しかしカッと目を開き、カーテンから美しい朝陽を浴び、健康的にも青汁をぐいっと煽り…、自分自身でも信じられないといった表情で、《余命１か月のはずの家政夫》は厳かに呟く。
「なぜだ？なぜ俺はこんなに…元気なんだ…？」
一方、春田創一（田中圭）は、武蔵との涙の別れを通して、「自分は明日死んでも後悔しないくらい、一生懸命生きているのだろうか？」と自問自答するように。もうすぐ“不惑”と謂われる40歳になるというのに、成長しなくてよいのだろうか？ 今のままで牧凌太（林遣都）を、みんなを幸せにできるのか？ と悩み始める。
そんな中突然、外資系大手不動産会社からまさかのヘッドハンティングが…!? しかもポジションは牧と同じ“課長”と聞いて、心が揺れ動く春田。どうにも迷走して、挙句元気がなくなっている春田を心配した牧は、思いきって“ある人物”に連絡するのだが…!?
その頃、元恋人・真崎秋斗（田中圭／二役）を殺した犯人を捜す情報収集が目的で「天空不動産」に途中入社した和泉幸（井浦新）は、ようやく復讐が終わったことを機に、会社を辞める決意を固める。しかし、自分に想いを伝えたまま家を出た、元バディの六道菊之助（三浦翔平）のことが気にかかり、自分たちの≪関係≫は何なのか、考え始め――。
そして、元カレ・牧を“これ以上ない最高の恋人”だと確信し、さらなる恋愛迷子状態に陥っていた武川政宗（眞島秀和）にも、ついにパートナーが現れて…!?
