While on a stakeout to catch Penguin making an illegal arms deal, Batgirl spots two thugs breaking into a car. She knocks out one of the thugs and chases the other into a warehouse where she confronts both the perp and a dozen of his allies. Badly beaten and captured, Batgirl is rescued from the gang by a pair of unlikely allies.

Batgirl debates her right for vengeance against those who wronged her. Oracle tries to correct her path into darkness, while Harley and Catwoman welcome her with open arms.
