Wildlife presenter Nigel Marven heads to China to learn about giant pandas. Nigel climbs the holy mountain of Emei Shan and encounters naughty macaque monkeys. After a hard day of trekking, Nigel sets traps overnight to catch small mammals. He discovers in the morning that they have been sprung by a mole shrew and a niviventer. After more difficult hiking, the team's efforts are finally rewarded with a spectacular glimpse of a panda in the wild.
