The body of a girl, Elizabeth Douglas, wearing she-wolf clothing, is found lying across a grave in a cemetery. Homicide detectives investigating the macabre crime question people in nearby homes. They discover two eccentric spinsters who conduct witchcraft ceremonies known to have been attended by the murder victim. They also hear of a mysterious whistling prowler.
