Happy takes Bessie's glasses and trades them for a bone. Bessie is unable to see clearly as she stumbles through the city to buy a new pair, leaving her in serious danger from Portia and Gwen, not including a pack of pirranas, which Happy must repeatedly save her from. In the end, he loses his bone to save Bessie, and Bessie finds a replacement as thanks.
