At the church, Jazmín threatens Remigio with a knife, but Father Gregorio intervenes. Remigio plans to accuse her of assaulting him and thus gain custody of Alma. Isabel discovers that Santiago is an undercover police officer who must leave the farm before Remigio discovers him. Santiago says goodbye, revealing his identity to Neneco and asking him to look after Alma. Remigio contacts Calixto, who betrays Javier, leaving him alone. Desperate, Javier calls Isabel, who promises to help him. Beto, regretting not knowing Valeria, asks to see Fernando, but Santiago stops him. Despite this, Beto shows up at the hospital, where Remigio finds him.
