Valeria Fuentes decides to report the crimes committed by her father, Remigio, and her brother, Javier, as a protected witness. Before doing so, she confronts Remigio and expresses her hatred. She seeks to make amends and apologizes to Jazmín; they both understand they were victims of cruel men. On the day of her testimony, Valeria arrives at the Public Prosecutor's Office under escort, unaware that Remigio and Javier are planning to murder Calixto, believing him to be the one who filed the complaint. But Judge Orellana reveals the truth in time. Jazmín is arrested for violating the restraining order. Remigio and Peralta secretly plan to kill her, but Alma alerts Santiago, who rescues her. Remigio continues to lie about the past, blaming Javier.
