Remigio, despite sensing Fernando's distrust, insists his innocence to Isabel. Romero pressures Valeria to stop being an anonymous witness and accept protection. Remigio bribes the judge for information. With the warrant signed, the National Force storms the barracks and rescues the hostages, although Javier and Calixto escape. Romero gains an ally in Barraza. Valeria agrees to testify as a protected person. Remigio and Javier suspect Calixto. At the ranch, Alma tells Jazmín she wants to go with her.
