Javier tells Remigio that they have Shaki. Jazmín hears them behind the door, but as he runs away, he drops a pendant. Remigio finds it and starts an investigation that leads him to ask Peralta to investigate Jazmín's true identity. Javier, jealous of his brother, complains to his father. His mother promises him a position in the government. Jazmín becomes Alma's confidant, which makes Remigio uncomfortable. Fernando suspects that his wife is unfaithful and discusses the matter with Father Gregorio, although he agrees with Jazmín that they should be together during the campaign. Pinedo asks to cancel classes and Remigio dismisses Rosaura, who says goodbye to Santiago with a kiss, watched by Jazmín. Calixto searches for a lost knife and almost discovers Jazmín and Santiago, just as he declares his love for her.
