The panelists generally applaud a new awards ceremony in Syracuse recognizing outstanding work by HS students in musicals, but not everyone on the panel offers praise for this effort. Then the panelists parse the “Elonis” decision by the Supreme Court this week concerning violent and threatening speech sent to an estranged wife, speech she found terrifying. Should such speech be criminalized?
