I thought it was hilarious/awesome that our boy Paul may have actually been a real dude AND that the stories about him basically served as a gentle hazing for greenhorns in the woods. Learning that simple camaraderie between “blue collar” workers gave birth to an American legend is one of the many reasons I love the series.
