As Mutta and the others search for Apo, Mutta finds him being carried off by a strange old NASA employee named Deneil Young, who takes Mutta for a ride to a place featuring abandoned training facilities. Reaching the top of an old blockhouse, Mutta is treated to a spectacular view of the launchpad. As the Mars I finally lifts off, Mutta stands back and watches in awe.
