He makes it clear to her that in the United States, Emi could have better treatment and Lila would be in a very good school. Jason and Paulina spend an afternoon with Lila, who, while with her mother, expresses that his only wish is to live with her. Tino is upset to see that Guzmán has publicly declared that he is the creator of Maximax and discredits him in front of Felipe. Aidé demands that Guzmán retract his statement and issue a statement acknowledging that Tino was the creator of Maximax. Tino arrives at the offices and is arrested for fraud.
