Matt is an author who's finishing his first book in his first home. His girlfriend Annette is a flight attendant who wishes Matt would stop writing and start working. Their bedroom is the size of a closet, and their living room is trapped in the 70's, complete with an indoor grill. Led by adventurous designer Nani, contractors Jennie, Gregory, Danny, Sparky, and host Marc attempt to fix up Matt's outdated house in only three days. Follow them as they build a built-in closet, fabricate a fireplace, whip Matt into shape, and make girlfriend Annette cry.
